In October of this year, the PTA and community of Corona Del Mar presented its 2018 Corona Del Mar Tour of Homes. The annual tour attracts up to 2,000 participants who then have the opportunity to experience six different luxurious coastal homes. The event benefits the students and staff of Corona Del Mar middle and high schools, supporting their arts, English, and history curriculums.
Among the six homes presented on this year’s tour was an 8,500 square foot Napa-inspired manor home, which has been dramatically and beautifully rebuilt by Burkhart Brothers Construction, a privately-owned development company located in Newport Beach, California, that specializes in custom home building, remodeling, and renovation. Antis Real Estate Photography was honored to be selected to photograph this home for the event publication.
The home’s expansive multi-level family room features a high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows. The room is airy and bright, yet it maintains the warmth and intimacy desired in an area set aside for the enjoyment of family and friends. A mini-kitchen within the space ensures convenience for casual gatherings. Curving its way playfully to the upper level, the spiral staircase adds an exciting, eye-catching detail.
Premium stainless steel appliances, an expansive center island, and simple open shelving set against white brick create a casual yet elegant kitchen designed for entertaining. The clean lines and color of the countertops echo the stainless steel features, while the lovely pendant lighting above illuminates and enhances the beautiful design of the workspace.
The master bedroom is enhanced by natural light streaming in from the generous windows and doors. Stylish wood flooring, recessed lighting, and a gorgeous chandelier add exquisite detail. The cozy sitting area and charming bar nook, complete with wine cooler, elevate the space from simple bedroom to relaxing retreat.
The ensuite master bathroom features an elegant, free-standing soaking tub and spacious, seamless walk-in shower. With a splendid window above the tub, the room exudes graceful luxury.
The Antis Real Estate Photography team is delighted to have had the opportunity to photograph this stunning property. Photographer Faye captured the home’s many features by paying special attention to the details of each space, photographing the best angles to convey each room’s unique qualities. Editor Brandi, self-described as the “pickiest person in the world,” ensured the images reached crisp perfection. Owner Aubrey Antis voiced the entire team’s sentiment when she said:
“It is a true honor for our photos to be displayed in this year’s Corona Del Mar Home Tour. These homes are the best of the best that Southern California has to offer. Being able to photograph this home’s stunning details and architecture is a privilege not extended to many companies. We hope to be involved with Burkhart Brothers Construction and the Corona Del Mar Home Tour for many years to come.”
